About VC Calderdale

Volunteer Centre Calderdale works to provide support and expertise across the borough for individual volunteers and volunteer involving organisations, with the aim of promoting and developing volunteering in local communities.

The centre links potential volunteers with volunteer involving organisations that have opportunities which suit their skills and interests.   

The centre also works with volunteer involving organisations around issues of good practice in volunteer management and the development of new volunteer roles.  If you would like to know more about what we can do to help your group involve volunteers in your activities please read our Local Volunteer Development Agency information.

We also offer a service for organisations to undertake a  CRB check for volunteers if their role is going to include working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
