The Calderdale Volunteering Awards 2011 were part of the European Year of Volunteering, and were designed to recognise and celebrate the contribution that volunteers make in our borough.
There were both a group and individual award in each of the 6 themes for the year:
- Poverty and Homlessness
- Young People and Children
- Culture and the Arts
- Sport
- Environment
- Health and Social Care
The closing date for nominations has now passed and the awards event took place on 15th June 2011.
