vinvovled is a national youth volunteering for 16 -25 year olds who give up their free time to volunteer for the benefit of others and their local communities. V rewards volunteers as they log up their hours working towards a 50 hour and 100 hour certificate. There are hundreds of volunteering opportunities from fundraising , events planning, helping children and the elderly, media and music to arts and sports.
Funding for Calderdale’s vinvolved team ends on March 31st. If volunteers want to register with v online they can do so by going to www.vinspired.com they can also log their hours on line to in order to recieve their certifcate.
Volunteer’s that have already completed an award using a Log Book, can still send this to V’s central Validation Team FREEPOST, RRZE-GZCH-SJCZ Central validation Team, BSS v Awards 4th Floor Westminster House Portland St, Manchester M! 3HU , but they must do so by 1st September 2011.
